Amazon.co.uk Review As Heard on Radio Soulwax Vol. 2 follows some mixed reviews for the Soulwax boys' efforts at composing from scratch: they discovered they had a much greater talent for ripping other people's works together to create a whole new sound of their own. As pioneers of the mash-up scene, the Soulwax boys were the first to actually get something into the public domain, and you can but wonder at how they managed to get most of the stuff on here cleared for use. Despite their clever moniker, 2 Many DJs is just two guys with a digital mixer and a box full of tracks that you'd never think to mix together. From Salt 'N' Pepa's "Push It" cut up with the Stooges' "No Fun", to Destiny's Child's "Independent Woman" over 10cc's "Dreadlock Holiday", blending seamlessly into Dolly Parton's "Nine to Five", the tracklisting may look like someone's idea of a joke, but somehow it works. This is quite possibly the ultimate party soundtrack with something for everyone and the emphasis firmly on fun. --Helen Marquis

AMAZING CD April 30, 2010 MJ (UK) As mixed CD's go this is probably one of the best, the different genres of music mixed to create one long party CD is just great. Extremely pleased with my purchase, would recommend to anyone with good taste in music.
Simply the best October 28, 2009 Russell G. Pottinger (Dundee) Soulwax (2 many dj's) are probably the finest remixers in the world at the moment. Their work is a labour of love and this is felt throughout all of their mixes. It isn't as simple as slapping a beat onto the music and speeding it up, actual thought goes into the process which allows an organic feel to permeate their work.
My favourite thing about this album was watching a group of drunken Irish men bounce around the room to Dolly Parton. That is this album's great strength, the ability to blend together some fantastic (really) old school songs with newer ones.
Perfect for most parties.
Great album! July 13, 2009 A. Lacey (UK) This is my second copy of this CD as I lost the first - great!
Just what I expected June 7, 2009 S. Porter (Spain) The CD was exactly what I expected. It was brand new, works perfectly and had no scratches on it. It was a CD that I had used so much that it was ruined so I bought a second copy. Just what I wanted and expected.
The best of Radio Soulwax February 3, 2009 C. Brake (Alton, Hampshire, UK) This was the album that introduced me to Soulwax, and still gets more plays than any of their other albums. Starts off great, picks up the tempo, and merges some more obscure stuff, with some classics that everyone will know. Included are some great Soulwax mashups, and I don't think there will be anyone at your party who does not love at least some of this cd, and most people will love it all.
