Not only has he injected a new passion into what might seem like a dull topic, he has done it well & hand picked some erfectly placed Guests to join him on the journey

I like Most of the tracks on here- Myles Kennedy makes things sound Great, Dave Grohl and Slash are riff tastic, WolfMother & Slash Rock Out!!
The worst 2 tracks on here for me is Ozzy & Chris Cornell- Who I both Love!!
Its a Great Album- Well Worth purchasing
I bought it & I have not let it leave my Car CD Player yet- Great for Driving too!!!

Brilliant album with terrific songs. i didn't think it would work but if you're considering getting a good album to listen to this is one not to go past. Beautiful dangerous with fergie is my favorite as well as Promise which is great but to be honest there isn't a bad track on it!

this album just goes to prove what i`ve always said, axl rose and his guns and roses are nothing with slash behind him, this is a stonkingly brilliant album, i`m not one for many big words about most things, but right from track one to track 14 this is a slashfest, the man is a genius on the guitar and this is a joy to listen to. 10 stars if possible xxxxxxxxxx

Top Quality Rock - a great album. July 20, 2010

Just a quick review to say, ignore the main review above as this album is just GREAT as a whole. If you love rock music there will be something here for you, from bluesy riffs to thrashy thrills.
Usually albums by guitarists leave me a bit cold as it's usually all about the playing to the detriment of the songs. Here it's the opposite, each song is a finely crafted vehicle for the singer presenting it, usually taking something of their own musical style and fusing it with Slash'riffs and solos acting as just the tasteful and fitting icing for each cake. All of these songs are top class and you could pick any one as a single that would be a hit if given the proper promotion and airplay.
Slash should be congratulated for working to showcase the strengths of his singers and the quality of the songs rather than his guitar playing (which speaks for itself all over this album). Top marks all round.
Don't mess about - buy this while the summer is still here and you can enjoy this album with the roof down in your car. You won't regret it.
