times remembered August 23, 2010 Paisley Buddie (Paisley Scotland) Thoroughly enjoyed this cd. Both performers sound pretty much like I remember them from much earlier days. A joy!
Reliving old times August 14, 2010 Mrs. Louise J. Leinhardt (Cheshire) You forget how good the old tunes were.Wonderfully enjoyable CD both musically and from a nostalgic point of view.
A Must Have DVD July 30, 2010 Mr. Donald S. Clay (Staffordshire, England) I saw this live performance some weeks ago on BBC4 & so when I found-out that it was available on DVD it was a must buy item. I have liked these two artists for many years & so seeing this live perfomance I was really impressed. It's great to see the warmth & respect that they have for each other - it's like watching one of those feel good movies. I would have liked to have been able to got this on Blu-ray but it's not available as yet, but the picture quality is so good that it's very close to HD ! I keep a regular check on what's showing in BBC4 - it was because of this channel that I discovered the "Trans-Antlantic Sessions" which in turn brought to my attention another great performance/CD - The List, by Rosanne Cash (saw her singing Motherless Child on the of the sessions).
A great cd, bringing James Taylor and Carole King together again. July 28, 2010 shirley Fantastic cd and dvd.
Bringing James Taylor and Carole King together!
They certainly haven't lost it.
A great present for anyone who loves this duo.
Carole and James together! July 27, 2010 C. Richardson (Jersey.) Nice CD - no surprises, just good old memories sung again as we like them. I am glad I bought this CD, both are in good voice and the memories between tracks given an insight into the past history of this famous pair of song-writers. I would recommend this for fans. Maybe a little "same-y" for the casual listener - but for me..heaven!
